Saline Wash Vials - 5 mL - CareFusion
Saline, 5 mL, 0.9% NaCl, Carefusion®, Modudose®, Wound Wash Unit Dose Vials, Sterile, 100 / Box
Product Description:
Home Health Care nurses, Assisted Living Facilities or any care setting looking for a sterile saline solution need look no further than CareFusion®, Modudose® 5 mL Sterile 0.9% NaCl. It’s easy to use, just twist off the top and direct at the required site. Not for use in parenteral applications.
A firm squeeze delivers the pressure needed to cleanse a healing wound during dressing changes. Because Modudose® is a single use, it cannot be recapped and therefore delivers the best practice in patient care. There are no dating and timing issues with Modudose® 5 mL Sterile 0.9% NaCl. It can be disposed of in the trash or recycled once the procedure is completed. Plus, with Modudose® there is no need for the ancillary equipment required with large volume containers of saline, saving you time, waste and money.
If desired, the Modudose® vial can be given to the patient to hold while the nurse prepares for a dressing change, allowing a natural warming to body temperature thereby avoiding the risk of slowing down the healing process by using cold saline.
